1. Burns

Case A: Rapid healing of burns in a young patient using the PD-Curcumin device

Diagnosis: The patient is an 18-month-old child who sustained burns due to scalding water. The burns were superficial to moderate in nature, with no signs of deep tissue involvement or systemic complications.

Treatment: 20 drops of PD-Curcumin twice per day. The patient was monitored for any signs of complications or infection.

Progression and follow up:

  • Day 1: The burns were assessed on initial presentation, with visible redness, blistering, and swelling. No signs of infection or necrosis were noted. The wounds were cleaned and treated with the PD-Curcumin device immediately.
  • Day 3: The burn sites showed early signs of healing, with a reduction in swelling and erythema. No discharge or signs of infection were observed. The wound edges began to show signs of re-epithelialization.
  • Day 7: By the end of the week, the wounds had healed significantly. The patient was pain-free, and there were no signs of infection. The burn sites were largely healed with minimal scarring, and the skin appeared to be regenerating well. The patient continued to heal rapidly at home, with no further complications. The burn sites were largely healed by this point, and the patient was comfortable and pain-free.
  • Day 45: During the final follow-up visit, the wounds had completely healed with no scarring. The patient had made a full recovery with no need for further medical intervention.

Wound assessment after day 45:

The patient experienced rapid wound healing following scald burns, with the PD-Curcumin treatment device showing significant benefits in reducing inflammation and promoting rapid tissue regeneration. Full recovery was achieved within a short period, with no complications or infection.

Case B: Burn wound from traffic accident - healing progression with PD-Curcumin device

Diagnosis: Second-degree burn caused by traumatic injury sustained in a traffic accident.

The burn wound showed signs of inflammation and pain at the time of treatment initiation.

The wound was treated with the PD-Curcumin device and monitored for healing.

Treatment: PD-Curcumin was applied once daily, with 8-10 drops each time for 21 days.

Progression and follow-up:

  • Day 7: The burn wound was clean with good granulation tissue formation. The wound no longer exhibited signs of infection or necrosis. The pseudo-membrane (dead tissue) was completely removed, and the wound began to show clear healing signs.
  • Day 14: The wound remained clean and showed further improvements in tissue regeneration. Granulation tissue continued to grow, and the wound’s edges were visibly shrinking and healing.
  • Day 27: The burn wound was clean, showing significant contraction. Granulation tissue had formed well, and there was visible cell differentiation and division, indicating proper wound healing. The wound showed no signs of infection or complications.

Conclusion: After 27 days of treatment with PD-Curcumin, the burn wound demonstrated excellent healing progress, with the wound shrinking, good tissue regeneration, and healthy cellular activity. The wound was fully cleaned and progressing well without any infection

Case C: Second-Degree Thermal Burn - healing progression with the PD-Curcumin device
